intalc 12060LA & intalc 6020LA – A novel and innovative idea for paints and plasters.
Both products, intalc 12060LA and intalc 6020LA are double classified products with a steep particle size distribution curve. Due to quasi-elimination of the fine fractions the oil absorption number drops down what leads to less demand for a binder. This has a positive effect on the mechanical and working properties of the coating, such as scrub resistance, adhesion, resistance to UV and weather conditions and rheology.
The lack of fine particles influences on cracks and pinholes reduction and improves the application. Allows to achieve more brilliant and stronger undertones (up to 25% higher) of the coating in comparison to other products, such as mica. Due to the high degree of whiteness and typical talc features enables to reduce the titanium dioxide or coloured pigments content.
